Tutition
In the article "Brigham Young University Plans 2010 Tuition Hike" It talks about how they are planning a 3% tuition increase. Tuition Hikes are out ragious. Yes right now is the time to be getting your education because you wont make it any were without a college degree, but adding to the already high prices of tuition is wrong. The term poor college student will now have to change to REALLY POOR COLLEGE STUDENT. This should not be the case. Luckly there are plenty of scolarships out there that are able to help us out along with Goverment funding. In all reality college tuition just keeps going up and up. Pretty soon we will have to give an arm and a leg to go to school. In the article it talks about how it is going up because of the cost of education going up because of the economy. I believe that because of the economy we should be making education more obtainable.

In the Article "SonoCine Mckay-Dee Detecting breast cancers earlier with new machine" they talk about a machine that is able to detect breast cancer earlier. Its Incredible the things that we are able to do with new technology. Last summer my family had a scare, they had found a lumb on one of my mothers breast. It was a very scary ordeal that I am glad to say turned out to not be cancer. Cancer is a scary thing. I am very happy that we are continue to move forward and try to catch cancer before it catches us. In the article it talks about how you can find cancer when it is merely an inch long. That gives us hope that one day if I am one of the unlucky people who does get diagnosed with breast cancer than maybe we will have caught it soon enough that I don't have to worry about it. I also think that it is really cool that this technology didn't start in japan or europe, but in our own back yard or ogden.

CELL PHONE DRIVERS MENACES TO THE ROAD?
While driving a silver Truck along I-15 Saturday morning, a man on a cell phone tried to merge into another lane. What the man failed to realizes is that Stephanie Seybodlt, a 19 year old girl in a white Honda civic, was driving along side him.
“It was the scariest thing of my life.” Seyboldt responds. “I almost thought I was done for. Had it not been for a woman driving behind me who honked I may not have realized what he was doing.” It seems that yes we may have had cell phones for years now, but the concept of driving while talking or texting on a cell phone is still very new.
We have created new laws against using cells phones while driving, but has it helped? Kellie Anjewierden a junior at the Salt Lake Community College stated “I use to text and drive all the time, but ever since I got in an accident about a year ago while texting I have decided to quit that habit.” Recent laws have made it so we can not text while driving. Anjewierden goes on to say “I am grateful that my accident wasn't that bad so I was able to learn my lesson the easy way. I would hate for someone to loose their life in order to learn the lesson that I learned.”
The wife of Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger has been found recently driving while talking on the phone. In California Schwarzenegger signed a law against such actions back in July of 2008. Obviously some people don't take some laws seriously. Utah has the strictest law in the nation if you were to kill or injure someone while texting while driving you can face up to 15 years in prison. So think about it. Are you willing to put your life on the line for a phone call?
