Christmas Spirit, Or Grinchy Outlook?
Millions of shoppers stormed retail stores across the country on Black Friday leaving one Wal-Mart associate dead, which leaves people wondering if the spirit of Christmas is gone.
Ryan Thompson, a Wal-Mart associate, stated “Black Friday was scary. It felt like I was down in Chili running with the bulls.” When asked his feelings on the Wal-Mart associate that was killed Ryan stated, “It’s amazing what people will do to save a couple of bucks, nowadays its seems that people only want the best price for the perfect gift and they forget what Christmas is all about. It’s all about the gifts and not the thought” This is Ryan’s first time working at Wal-Mart for Black Friday. Ryan goes on to say “I will never work on Black Friday again. [The customers] had no consideration for anyone, but themselves. They didn’t care if they stepped on someone, or took things out of someone else’s cart. It was a mad house.”
Many Customers feel the same way as Ryan. Julie Heim a single mother of two stated “I like to go to Shopping on Black Friday because of the deals that I can get on presents, but this year seemed to be worse than last year. Money is tight with the economy the way it is so everyone is trying to get a good deal and so they will fight tooth and nail.” Julie later admitted “I am guilty of pushing someone out of the way to grab a movie or two that everyone is going for.”
It seems many people have lost the sight of Christmas when it comes to a good deal on a gift, but Julie and Ryan both agreed on one thing. That Christmas is something that has been commercialized, but in the end when you go home to your family and sit around opening gifts with each other nothing can beat the feeling you feel when the real Christmas spirit is there.

Frogs
ok so you know my last name is frogley everyone should know that!! its pretty simple and easy to remember!! i love it and i dont know if i will beable to give it up.. well i had a friend ask me the other day what would i do if i married a smith or a common name like smith and i said that i would kill myself... i obviously was kidding but i honestly dont know what i would do.. i love my last name and how it defines me... if i became a smith i would feel so dull and boring. Frogley just has this spin on it that makes everyone take a double take to make sure that they read it right... plus every Frogley that i meet i am related to.. it makes things less complicated!! but that is besides the point i have decided to talk about my frogs a little bit... over the years i have had 4 frogs. my first one was an aqua frog named Freddie the Frog... they are only suppose to live on average no more than 2 years... mine lived 7 years and when he died he was blind and had an arched back like an old man... my second frog was a green tree frog named Hopper... she was a character and i loved her very much... in 6th grade i would take her to school and put her on my shoulder and see how long it would take for anyone to notice her. she was a very well behaved frog who i loved dearly. she lived for 6 years. then i got Stitch he is the brownish one in the one of the pictures above. he was also a green tree frog but was the opposite of hopper... he loved to jump and climb and be all over the place... he died last summer while i was in disneyland and i actually cried at disneyland... "the happiest place on earth"... now my last frog is named Who-de-knee.... he is a red eyed tree frog and is the frog in the picture... he is much like hopper in the way that he is calm and content with just sitting on my knee while i do homework... i thought he had cancer for awhile last summer but it was just a lump that has gone away and he is now as happy as ever and enjoys waking me up in the night croaking away... i dont know why i told you all of this but oh well... peace out!

Day one on the Eastern Front
Well I just started a blog... never thought I would see the day... oh well... hahaha! well lets see what to write about hmmm... I have started school again this will be my last semester before I get my associates YIPPY!! I cant wait to be done even though this is just the first stop in a life time of learning.
todays theme, Fruit: If I was a fruit i think i would be a kiwi, I am course and Hairy on the outside but inside is a bundle of GREEN!! which is my favorite color especially lime green!! but I like Kiwis better than limes that is why I would be a Kiwi. I would wake up each morning in my fruit basket around my fellow fruits and make bets deciding which one of us would be the lucky one to die today. Well that is it for today peace out home slice!
